The Stadiums where the football matches for the 2012 Olympic Games will be displayed are some of the oldest and most significant in Great Britain. You can either attend at a game on Old Trafford, Wembley Stadium, Hamden Stadium, The City of Coventry Stadium, St. James Park or the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
Transfer to Old Trafford Stadium (2012 Olympic Football matches)
Baring the fictional name “The Theathre of Dreams” the Old Trafford Stadium really looks from the outside and from the inside a place where dreams came and still come true. It is a place of successes and failures, a place of tears and cheers, a place where come almost every week in great numbers to applaud and encourage in the hope that they’re favorite team will win yet another game. It is the home of the very popular Manchester United team or, as other may call it, The Red Devils. The stadium is the second largest football stadium in England, the 1st spot being currently held by Wembley. Old Trafford has a capacity of around 80,000 seats.
The Theathre of Dreams is also one of England’s oldest stadiums, its construction being finished in the year of 1909, while the first game was played the following year against the rivals from Liverpool, a game lost by the Red Devils with the score of 3-4. In 2006 Old Trafford was expanded even further, when 8,000 more seats were added and plans for even more redevelopment are due to be put to action, a redevelopment which will increase the stadium’s capacity to 95,000 seats.

Transfer to Wembley Stadium (2012 Olympic Football matches)
The initial Wembley Stadium was used to great events such as the Olympic Games, having previously hosted some of the competitions for the 1948 Olympics. But now, on the site where the first Wembley once stood we find a new, modern, bigger and much attractive venue which will also be home to some of the football matches of the 2012 London Olympics. Even if not as used to great competitions, the new Wembley will certainly rise up to its expectations in the weeks to come. With a total of 90000 seats, the home of the England national football team certainly is an architectural masterpiece which has cost no less than 798 GBP. The all-seater arena is centered around a round design, secured from the elements by a sliding roof that does not entirely enclose it. It can also be modified to serve as an athletic venue by setting up a short-term platform over the lowest tier of seating.
A transfer with our company from the center of London to Wembley Stadium will cost 33 GBP for a saloon car.
Transfer to the City of Coventry Stadium (2012 Olympic Football matches)
One of the smaller and modest venues that will host football matches for the 2012 Summer Olympics is the City of Coventry Stadium or The Ricoh Arena as some will name it. The stadium was initially designed to be of the best in England and envisioned to have 45,000 and a modern state-of-the art architecture but, because of the team’s relegation in 2001 and other financial problems a more real approach was taken into consideration. Today Ricoh Arena can have a maximum attendance of 32,609 people and also houses a complex which is formed of a hotel, an exhibition hall, a casino and a leisure club.
The venue became the house for Coventry City FC’s home games at the beggining of the 2005–06 season, after the 106 year history at the Highfield Road stadium. The initial competitive football game that took place at the Ricoh Arena was in opposition to Queens Park Rangers on 20 August 2005. The attendance for this game was really small, the stadium only 23,012 of the seats occupied. The game finished with the score of 3–0 to Coventry, with Claus Bech Jørgensen being the first footballer to score on the City of Coventry Stadium.

Transfer to the Millennium Stadium (2012 Olympic Football matches)
For some of the football games played in the 2012 Summer Olympics you may need to get transport to Wales or Scotland as some of the matches will be held on the Hampden and Millennium Stadium, both outside England.
For example, the jewelery constructed in 1999, named the Millennium Stadium is located in Cardiff, Wales, approximately 152 miles away from London. The Millennium Stadium sits now on the site of the former Wales National Stadium which was demolished in order for the new state-of-the-art venue to be built. Even if the National Stadium was one of the greatest arena’s in Great Britain there was a number of interesting reasons that led to the construction of the new stadium. Some of this included the reduced capacity of only 53,000 seats or its height, which was pretty reduced as well which made it very hidden by the surrounding buildings.
A transfer with our company from the center of London to Millennium Stadium will cost 194 GBP for a saloon car.
Transfer to Hampden Park (2012 Olympic Football matches)
The other out-of-England venue that will be used to host the football matches for the 2012 Olympic Games is Scotland’s pride – Hampden Park in Glashow. The arena of 52,000 seats is also the home of Scotland national football team and amateur Scottish Football League club Queen’s Park.
Two previous Hampden Park stadium also existed in Scotland in the 19th century, one of them even being the biggest stadium in the world, having an initial capacity of 100,000 which was later increased to 150,000. The former Hamden Park also holds the record for the greatest attendance in a match against England when the stadium received 149,415 guests inside it’s walls. The stadium was later renovated mostly for security reasons and its capacity reduced to 81,000 and after that to 52,000 in 1999 when it was fully renovated.
A transfer with our company from the center of London to Hamden Park will cost 491 GBP for a saloon car.
Transfer to St.James Park (2012 Olympic Football matches)
St James’ Park, presently also named Sports Direct Arena, is the house of Newcastle United FC. It is the fourth biggest stadium in England with the ability to guest 52,339 people, and has the biggest cantilever roof in Europe.
First match on St.James Park stadium was held at the current site as early as 1880, nevertheless it took until the very end of the 19th century before the terrain was first considerably designed.
Following the development of the first stands in 1899 the capacity of the ground rise up to 30,000. Short time after that another major reconstruction started which managed to double the stadiums capacity to 60,0000 seats.
