Taxi, PCO and Minicab Driver Jobs
A professional driver is one who understands the benefits of good customer service and wishes to be part of a growing organization that is committed to the quality service of clients and drivers alike. We encourage professionalism, teamwork and the willingness to help this company become the best in the market place. It costs you nothing extra to provide a complete service. 99% of our work consists of Airport transfers. Jobs are allocated to drivers in advance, so there can be no errors. Driver Reports are done on a weekly basis. Because we are a commission circuit, you will only pay after a job has been successfully done.
School Run Drivers
The most reliable drivers we have will be offered school runs. In order to take a school run you’ll need to attend the MIDAS training for drivers and have a valid DBS check not older than 3 years. Once you accept a school run you are responsible for it for the whole academic year.
The driver prices on the school runs vary between 300£ and 800£ per week, depending on how many children you have on board and how far away they go, if you have a passenger assistant or not, etc. Once you attend the training and are fully qualified we discuss with you what is available in your area.
This is a good opportunity to get steady work throughout the whole academic year and be a reliable person in the life of a young person or make a difference in how the service to the local authority staff is delivered.
Passenger Assistants
The Passenger Assistant is the person who travels with the child in the back of the vehicle, collects the child from home and drops him off at the school and vice-versa.
Most of our school runs are with special educational needs children, which means you will be dealing with at least one special need per child (autism, emotional or behavioral difficulties, Asperger’s syndrome, hearing or sight difficulty, etc).
This is a part time position, the work is mainly within term times, Monday to Friday, between 06:00 AM or 07:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 14:00 PM and 17:00 PM, but hours vary according to the route you are covering. The payment is 8.5£ per hour, subject to increase after the first year. You can earn between 15 and 30 h per week.
If you would like to go ahead with the application, you’ll need to attend the PATS (passenger assistant) training. Other documents we will require: proof of ID, proof of address (bank statement, utility bill), NI number, enhanced DBS certificate with the children and adult’s barred lists checked.

Work schedule:
Drivers can work part time or full time. For the full time drivers, there is a 12 hours day shift and a 12 hours night shift. You could earn about £1000 if you work 5 days a week/12 hour a day. From this amount, you have to pay us the commission of 23%. At the moment we have two shifts: day shift (from 04:00-05:00 till 16:00-17:00) and night shift (from 16:00-17:00 till 04:00-05:00). You might be asked to do some additional hours when more jobs are available. In that case, you will receive a phone call from the office. As a result, your hours and pay will depend on the number of jobs you do on that week.
Time off:
As you know, or will find out, the work load drops off during the week so we do not have enough work to keep you all happy. The director would appreciate it if you would take your time off during the week and not on the weekend. That way you will have the work and we will not be short of staff to carry out our daily business. Your attendance is important to the business and is monitored. This policy identifies points at which the company will take action if your sickness absence reaches unacceptable levels.

An appropriate driver attire lets the customer know that we take our job seriously (actual client feedback) and that we can provide a high standard transfer service.
We regularly ask clients to provide feedback for our drivers and sometimes they agree to take pictures, so please don’t feel bad if some clients take your picture. The full time driver that will have the most positive feedback in a month will be named Driver of the Month and will be entitled for a £100 bonus.
If a driver wants to finish the collaboration with us he will need to give us a notice 7 days prior.
We offer meet and greet service to our customers. For this service we charge £5 and the customers will have 30 minutes free waiting time. Also, the parking it’s included in the £5.
At the pick-ups from the airport, in case the client does not show up, you have to wait inside at least an hour after the client’s selected time after landing. If you do not wait one hour inside we will not pay you the job or the parking.
For instance: the client selects 40 minutes after landing. The plane landed at 13:00, 40 minutes after landing is 13:40. From this moment on the driver has to wait for another hour, so up until 14:40.
If the client still does not show up until 14:40 the driver can leave the terminal, but not before he notifies the controller.
NO PICK UP SITUATIONS
If you have a no pick up and the job is prepaid in advance, you must e-mail us the parking ticket or the evidence how you have been there (photos or a hotel stamp) in order to be paid for that certain job. If the job is cash then we will pay you only the cost of your parking.
