“The Mile Challenge” – Competition T&C

Please read the following terms and conditions for the competition carefully. If you enter one of our contests, we will assume that you have read these terms and conditions and that you agree to them.

1. To enter a competition you must be 18 years old or over at the time of entry.
2. The competition will begin on the 1^st of June 2013 at 00:01 and will last until the 30^th of June 2013 at 23:59.
3. The promoter is Airport Transfer Cars Ltd whose registered office is at 105 Mayes Road, Wood Green, N22 6UP, London.
4. Employees of Airport Transfer Cars Ltd or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
5. We consider as participants only the lead passengers that take the journeys with Airport Transfer Cars Ltd. Travel agencies, companies that book for multiple employees under the same account or any other third parties that create the bookings for someone else will not be eligible to enter the competition.
6. We only accept participants who book directly with 247 Airport Transfer. Those who make bookings with us via third parties such as Anycabs, ubiCabs or any other company, travel agency or minicab booking system are not eligible to enter our competition.
7. There is no entry fee necessary to enter this competition.

9. Closing date for entry will be on the 30^th of June 2013. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
10. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
11. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
12. No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable.
13. The winner of “The Miles Challenge” will be chosen as follows: the participant that acquires the highest number of miles during the competition will be rewarded with the same number of miles travelled in that period. The free miles will be awarded to the person on first place of “The Miles Challenge”. The maximum number of miles awarded cannot exceed 300 per person. For example, if a participant travels 700 miles with Airport Transfer Cars Ltd during the competition and wins, he will only receive 300 miles as prize.
14. The winner of “The Bookings Challenge” will be chosen as follows: the participant who travels the most journeys with Airport Transfer Cars Ltd during the competition (from 1^st to the 30^th of June 2013) will be rewarded with a marvellous holiday between 9 – 11 August 2013 in the fantastic location of Bournemouth, at the Days Hotel Bournemouth. The accommodation and the transport from London to Bournemouth, as well as from Bournemouth to London will be provided by Airport Transfer Cars Ltd.
15. A person cannot win both categories. In case that, at the end of the contest, the same person is located on the first spot for both categories, he/she will be given the option to choose one of the two prizes that he desires. In this case, the prize for the other category will go to the second placed participant in the rankings opposite to the one the winner chose the prize from. Example: if, at the end of the contest, a person finds himself/herself on the 1^st place of both rankings, and he/she chooses the award from “The Miles Challenge”, the other prize will go to the 2^nd placed participant in “The Bookings Challenge”.
16. If the situation presented at paragraph 15 occurs, the winner must choose his/her prize in maximum 7 days from the announcement of the winners. Contrary, Airport Transfer Cars Ltd reserves the right to randomly choose which of the two awards will be handed to the winner.
17. In case a participant finds himself / herself on one of the spots 2 to 10 in both categories, he /she will only receive the prize for one of the categories.
18. If a participant is situated on one of the spots 2nd to 5th in one category and on one of the spots 6th to 10th in the second category, he / she is going to receive the prize for the category where he / she is ranked on the highest position. For example, in case a person is placed on the 3rd spot in “The Mile Challenge” and on the 8th spot in “The Booking Challenge”, he / she will get the prize for “The Mile Challenge”.
19. In case there will be customers placed on the 6th to 10th position in either of the categories who have the same number of bookings or miles as the client on the 5th position, they are going to get the same prize as the 5th participant.
20. The winner will be notified by email and/or phone within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 30 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
21. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected.
22. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters that have to do with the competition will be final.
23. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
24. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. By participating to the competition, the winners agree to have their names disclosed on the promoter’s website and Social Media channels.
25. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Airport Transfer Cars Ltd and not to any other party.
