You can also choose to take the Tube between the airports, but you should know that this implies a lot of hassle, as you will have to change between trains and buses and you will be obliged to carry the luggage on stairs and escalators. So, from Heathrow Airport you will have to take the London Underground that stops at Victoria Station. You will have to get out of the station and from there take the National Express bus that goes to Luton Airport. As you can see, this is not an easy task for someone who has a lot of bags to carry. Moreover, you should keep in mind that this kind of transfer usually takes around 3 hours, depending on how early you catch the train and the bus.
Finally, as with the transfer from Heathrow to Stansted, you have the option to take a Heathrow to Luton Private Transfer.
