It’s going to happen again in 2025 – from 4 to 6 November, travel experts from all over the world will gather in London, at ExCeL London, to attend World Travel Market (WTM). As one of the most respected events in the travel industry, it’s an occasion we look forward to every year – and we’re excited to be part of it again!
What is World Travel Market London 2025
The World Travel Market (WTM) London is a very important event for professionals who work in the travel industry. Organized by RX Global, it brings together a huge number of people from all corners of the world, here, in London. Every year, they share ideas, build connections and reimagine the future of travel.
It is a great platform for:
- Creating new partnerships between travel agencies, hotel brands, and other service providers
- Presenting the latest innovations in mobility, technology and travel
- Exploring key global trends from sustainability to digital transformation of the tourism industry
The 2025 edition will feature many thematic areas. The participants will be able to enjoy the WTM Trend Fest, which explores cultural experiences and consumer trends. Moreover, the edition will feature WTM TV, a live broadcast platform that shares interviews, insights, and daily highlights.
When WTM London first started
World Travel Market London was founded in 1980. The first edition of this exhibition took place at the Olympia Exhibition Centre. Here, there were like 221 exhibitors and around 9.000 trade visitors. If we think about how many people attend this event now, this was a pretty modest start. However, this start laid the ground for something very successful.
As the years went by, it kept growing and attracting people from everywhere. In 1992, it moved to the Earls Court Exhibition Centre to make room for its expanding audience. Then, in 2002, WTM London found its home at ExCeL London. Here is where it welcomes the global travel community, every year.
Who takes part in World Travel Market London 2025
This prestigious event brings together a remarkable cross-section of the travel world. Each year, it attracts over 45.000 professionals, and more than 4.000 exhibiting companies from more than 180 countries and regions. It also attracts thousands of buyers, including tour operators, travel agencies and corporate travel planners.
At the edition that took place in 2024, we’ve seen more than
- 46.000 attendees,
- 4.000 exhibitors, and
- 5.000 pre-qualified buyers.
- over 34.000 business meetings.
For 2025, we expect that these numbers are going to be just as strong, or even higher! They show that it is definitely one of the most important conferences.
