• Start the tour with a tea or a coffee in one of the sweetest cafes in North London. • Next stop is called Waterlow Park (Highgate Hill, N6 5HG) and it is a wonderful and picturesque green area where you can stroll for hours. Since it is a hillside park, it allows you to admire a quite lovely panorama of London. The gardens and the ponds are absolutely beautiful and in the centre of the park you will see the stunning Lauderdale House, an exhibition and performance space that you can visit for free. The park is opened every day, from dawn till dusk.

• Everybody loves bargains and antiques, so a visit to the Camden Passage (N1 8ED) will definitely be a great deal. Here you will not only find antiques, but also high quality chocolates, vintage clothes, designer wools, African waistcoats, Japanese prints etc. You can even come across various cafes and pubs where you can sit and take a rest while enjoying a coffee or a beer.

From Waterlow Park, you can take a minicab to Camden Passage and pay around £13 (£3.25 per passenger). The transfer lasts 20 minutes.

• End your evening at Trangallan (61 Newington Green, N16 9PX), an elegant and special restaurant with absolutely delicious dishes. The interior is vintage and cute and makes the perfect setting for a romantic candlelit dinner. It features a menu for each season and the wine list is quite impressive and you will surely find something that fits both of you. The eatery is opened from Tuesday to Friday, between 6:30pm and 10:30pm and on weekends, from 12:30pm to 3pm and from 6:30pm to 10:30pm.

A transfer will take you from Camden Passage to Trangallan in 15 minutes and will charge you only £11 for a saloon car (£2.75 per passenger).
