Stratford International Station features the high – speed service offered by Southeastern. It runs via Ashford, Ebbsfleet International and London St Pancras. In 2011, Stratford Station and London St Pancras Station have been linked by the DLR Stratford International extension. These 2 stations are also connected through a walking route.
Even though it’s called Stratford International, there are no international trains that call in this station. Eurostar is the single international operator in London, but it does not stop at Stratford. The station features high – speed trains going as far as Ebbsfleet and London St Pancras. Other destinations offered by Stratford Station are Epping, Woodford, Norwich, Ipswich, Colchester Town, Braintree, Richmond, Canary Wharf and Clapham Junction.
In 2011, Stratford Station received a new ticket hall and north-facing exit. This was part of the Stratford City and Olympics development. At the same time, the Stratford City development and the Stratford shopping centre were linked via a pedestrian bridge. All these opened in September 2011.
