The 3rd bridge was finished in 1864. It featured stone piers and girder. The brick viaduct constructed around the same period has survived until date.
The 4th bridge was completed in 1930 and in 1999it was replaced by the 5th bridge. This was a temporary one and will also be replaced by the 6th Walton Bridge. The new bridge won’t feature any piers and will improve the navigation.
