Transfer from Welling (DA16) to Luton Airport

There are many places to shop and to have fun in Welling. The town centre features a wide array of take – away outlets, entertainment shops, restaurants, fashion shops, IT shops, sports shops, charity shops and a performing arts school. There are also facilities such as manicure and barbers shops, laptop and computer repair shops, fish and chips shops, betting and electrical shops, flower shops, pawnbroker shops, bakeries, fast – food takeaways, a post office, estate agents, tea shops and cafes. So, anything you need, you will find right there, on Welling High Street. Bellegrove Road and Upper Wickham Lane also feature a couple of supermarkets and facilities like a Turkish Food Centre, Lidl, Shell, Morrison’s and Iceland.

A Tesco supermarket was opened in 2010. Above it there are new apartment developments. Opposite the Tesco supermarket there is a Morrison’s supermarket, built in 2009.

Welling is home to a former Foster’s School. The building is located on Upper Wickham Lane and it’s a nice local landmark. The school is no longer in use, as it moved to Westbrooke Road and now the structure houses residential homes. It is listed as a Grade II building.
