Heathrow Airport Transfers
The London Heathrow Airport is located 20 miles (32 kilometres) away from Central London and it’s situated to the west of the capital city. It represents one of the world’s most advanced and busiest airports. More than 190,000 passengers are departing and arriving every day to Heathrow Airport, making it the airport with the most international passengers in the world. There are no less than five terminals forming the airport, each terminal featuring its own left luggage facilities, shops, accommodation desks, restaurants, information counters and currency exchange facilities.
The latest addition to the airport is the Terminal 5. It was finished and opened in 2008 and it’s the newest long – haul base. An interesting fact about the Terminal 5 is that it represents UK’s largest freestanding structure. At the same time, it is five times bigger than the Terminal 4. The Terminal 2 is almost 60 years old and from 2009 it is under construction. It will be reopened in 2014.
Since it is such a busy airport, Heathrow features a wide array of transport and transfer options. Some of them are cheaper, some are more comfortable, while other are faster. So, in the end, it’s up to you to choose the right means of transportation to and from the Heathrow Airport.
Heathrow Airport Transfers by Tube:

Its main disadvantages are that it’s not that comfortable and that the journeys take quite a long time. The tube services travel from Heathrow from 5.10 am till 11.45 pm. On Sundays, the operation hours change to 5.50 am and 11.30 pm. The tube leaves every few minutes from London Heathrow Airport.
